Online Payments

Library fees that are $2.00 or more may be paid online in your Wichita Public Library account. To log in, you will need your Library barcode number or username, and your password.

NOTE: The Library supports secure online card payments using SSL security and a 128-bit encryption, which encodes data sent over the Internet. The Library’s online payment system is managed by controls that ensure Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard. Credit card transactions are secured through a third-party vendor, PayPal PayFlowPro.

To make a payment online:

1. Log into My Account.
2. Select the Fines & Fees tab.
3. Click the box(es) for the fee(s) that you wish to pay.
4. Select the Pay Fines Now! link.
5. Enter your correct credit card and billing information.
6. Select Next.
7. Select Submit Payment if the information is correct.
   If any information is incorrect, select Previous to go back to the Payment form, and then submit the payment again.  When the payment has been successfully submitted, a confirmation page is displayed.
8. Select the printer icon to print the page for your records if you wish. If you have an email address on file with the Library, a receipt will be emailed to you.

Online Payment FAQs

Will my payment information be stored at the Library?
No. Payment information is never kept by the Library.

Is my information secure?
The data in your payment form is encrypted before it is sent to the processing vendor, PayPal, which conducts the financial transaction. The library payment site is protected by an SSL certification that ensures that you are making a payment with the Wichita Public Library when you pay your fees online.

Is there a minimum I have to pay?
Yes, the minimum payment accepted is $2.00. You may not pay more than the amount due.

Can I pay only a part of my fees?
Yes, you can select the fees you wish to pay; however, you cannot pay a portion of a fee.

How long does it take before the payment is reflected on my Library account?
Transactions are processed immediately and will be applied to your account. 

Is there a charge to use this service?
There are no service charges for making online payments.

Is there a way to make an online payment when I’m at the Library?
Yes, you can pay at any service desk, or you can use any of the Library’s public computers, including the Online Catalog stations.
