The Wichita Public Library
Foundation, Inc.

The Library Foundation incorporated in 1987 as a not-for-profit public charity. It exists solely to benefit the lives of the citizens of Wichita through enhancement of the Wichita Public Library. Its mission is to enhance the Library's collections, to increase use and access to the Library collections through improved technology, and to promote literacy in the City of Wichita.

The Library Foundation is currently seeking contributions for the Library wish list. This list is compiled by the Library staff each year and covers a wide range of needs from books to capital equipment. None of these items will be covered by the annual Library budget from the City of Wichita and all require private donations.
