The Little Read
"Never too worn out for books!"

The Little Read is an initiative by the Wichita Public Library and its partners to share "Olivia" by Ian Falconer with every preschooler in our community during the week of Nov. 15-21.

As part of the celebration, local celebrities will read "Olivia" at special storytimes.

Susan Peters, KAKE
Central Library, 223 S. Main
Tuesday, Nov. 17, 10:30 a.m.

John Snyder, KSN
Alford Branch Library, 3447 S. Meridian
Wednesday, Nov. 18, 10:30 a.m.

Mayor Carl Brewer
Evergreen Branch Library, 2601 N. Arkansas
Wednesday, Nov. 18, 10:30 a.m.

City Manager Robert Layton
Rockwell Branch Library, 5939 E. 9th
Wednesday, Nov. 18, 10:30 a.m.

Felicia Rolfe, KWCH/Kansas CW
Westlink Branch Library, 8515 Bekemeyer
Wednesday, Nov. 18, 10:30 a.m.

In addition to these celebrity storytimes, library staff, community partners and volunteers will visit early childhood programs across the city to share stickers, books and storytimes.

Share "Olivia" with the young people in your life and enter at any Library location to win your own copy (one winner per branch). Five lucky winners from across the community will win an "Olivia" book and doll set.

The Little Read is made possible by IMA and the Leonard and Celia Levand Trust. It is not affiliated with The Big Read.
